Our Chicago location at 25 E Washington St, Suite 1030, offers outpatient addiction treatment for adults dealing with drug or alcohol use, including co-occurring mental health concerns. We offer three levels of care here: Partial Hospitalization (PHP), Intensive Outpatient (IOP), and Outpatient (OP). You live at home and come in for scheduled sessions. If you or someone you love is struggling, you don’t have to work out the next step by yourself.

All programs at this location are for adults and treat substance use, along with co-occurring mental health concerns. Our clinical team recommends a level of care after your assessment.

Commute-based care, no housing. The Chicago location doesn’t offer housing or overnight stays. Patients live at home (or wherever they’re staying) and commute to 25 E Washington St for each scheduled session. Please plan for regular travel downtown.

Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP)

PHP is the most structured level of care we offer in Chicago. You come in for treatment most of the day, several days a week, and go home afterward. PHP can work for someone who needs more support than weekly therapy but doesn’t need 24-hour care. It’s also used as a step down after a higher level of care.

Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)

IOP means treatment a few hours a day, a few days a week. That makes it easier to keep up with work, school, or family responsibilities. It’s often a step down from PHP, or a starting point when outpatient support is clinically appropriate.

Outpatient care is our least intensive level. It usually means scheduled sessions on fewer days per week, for people who are ready for more independence, often after completing PHP or IOP.

5. Level-of-care recommendation. Based on the assessment, the clinical team recommends PHP, IOP, or OP at our Chicago location and explains why. If you’d be better served by a different level of care or setting, we’ll tell you and help you think through next steps.
